Emerging Leaders

The Emerging Leaders program started in 2006 to engage young leaders with United Way and connect them to the community. Emerging Leaders are a diverse group of individuals aged 45 and under who make a Leadership Level contribution ($1,200 or more) to United Way and opt in to the Emerging Leaders Program. These contributors help ensure a brighter future for Greater Milwaukee.

Emerging Leaders Connect, Inspire, Learn, and Lead:

  • Connect to each other, current Milwaukee leaders and the nonprofit community;
  • Inspire the next generation of leaders and mobilize them to make a difference in our community;
  • Learn through leadership development about current community issues and the local nonprofit community; and
  • Lead Milwaukee into the future through giving and volunteerism.
